Today I begin a brand new chapter.

“Go all in,” they say. “Leap and the net will appear.”

I didn’t know what that meant for me, but I was excited about the possibility. As an entrepreneur, I know with every fiber of my being that outside of your comfort zone is where all the magic happens—new connections, bigger ideas, more possibilities. We must live in that space and feel comfortable in the uncomfortable if we want to continue growing—ourselves first… growing our business is always a byproduct of that.

At the beginning of 2019, my husband had to take a position that would leave me by myself with the girls for 3-4 days at a time. Knowing I’d have a lot of alone time when the kids went to sleep so I decided to turn off the TV and focus on learning something new. One book led to another, which led to purchases of digital courses and online programs… which led to me creating my own digital course and finding my next true passion: coaching.

Then when the world shut down in 2020 I was mentally prepared for the challenge. I was not only primed to handle hard things, but my zest for learning had also led to an amazing understanding of how our brains are wired, emotions are triggered, and how to leverage that to create little bits of success in every area of my life.

Success started showing up by kicking feelings of depression that snuck in when I didn’t want them to. Then crept into healing rocky relationships. It improved my health and the health of my family. It changed how I showed up in business. So while the outside world was panicking, my inside world was [for the most part] enjoying each moment for what it was: an incredible gift.

But just because I was okay inside my little bubble, it didn’t take much to see what was happening just outside of it. I’m not ignorant of the tragedy the world is still recovering from. But I have let it push me so far beyond uncomfortable… I have let it push me to GO ALL IN… I’ve allowed it to shove me off a cliff and free-fall toward a net that has miraculously appeared.

I made a giant commitment to myself—in time, resources, energy, and money.

Today I begin a brand new chapter. Today I attended orientation of a year-long program to become a Master Certified NeuroCoachTM with Dr. Shannon Irvine

New connections, bigger ideas, and more possibilities are within reach! Not just for me… but for SO MANY OTHERS. I committed to myself because I’m committed to helping others improve their lives and businesses, committed to making an impact in the world, committed to leaving a legacy. I am committed to helping entrepreneurs define and design the success they desire.

Dr. Shannon always says, “transformed people transform people.” As my story of continuing personal transformation continues I’ll be sure to share it here, along with ways you can hack your brain to design the life of your dreams.
